  You can, but make sure you rinse out as much salt and sand with fresh water after and then use a hair dryer to evaporate as much as the moisture you can or your skin gets really nasty. Source(s): Done it.

  Yea you can, but the only problem is that it will stink for days because the main reason its waterproof is just in case you accidentally get wet. I wouldn't if I were you.
