  • " I'll suggest this one... http://www.activemusician.com/item--EM.M…although, your retailer is probably 20% higher than i could get it at my local shop. out of the 2 you listed, the Laney looks like it may be my choice (based on looks alone) but I doubt the difference would be really that noticeable. when you're ready to move up, i would highly recommend one of these... http://www.voxamps.co.uk/valvetronix/ad1… great deal for the money... now playing:5150 - van halen "

  • "I have two Behringer amps. They have great effects processors and plenty of power for any style of music. My oldest, a 210, which is just a stereo 110, I've had for 3 years without any trouble at all. Depending on your style of music, If you're into rock, I'd definitely go with the V-Tone. If you're looking for any overdrive or distortion at all, you won't be happy with the smaller, less powerful 15 watt Laney. I have one suggestion, unless you're buying locally, http://www.americanmusical.com , gives a free extra 1 year warranty on most electronic gear. They also offer an extended payment plan on orders over $250.
