Why the light bulbs in my house burning out so quickly?
On average I change bulbs every 3 or 4 weeks. They should last longer than that. I've been buying G/E 75 watt long life light bulbs in 4 packs @ $1.88 thinking they were good bulbs for a reasonable price. I’ve checked the line voltage, everything seems to be fine but the bulbs are blowing like they going out of style!!! Plz help.

What are your light fixtures rated for? You might want to check that.

I leave my porch light open on all night n usually I had to replace it like after every 6 weeks. I finally replaced it with one of those curly fluorescent bulbs. I haven't had to replace it yet ... it's been over 2 years!

I'm sorry but you thought you got a good deal when the store had a very good reason to reduce price of bulbs. Go to lower wattage or switch to fluorescent bulbs.
