  Well those two is have own advantage and disadvantage, enclosed transport is commonly used to transport luxury cars, classic cars, and exotic cars, this method is costly but worth especally for people who transport their luxury, classic, or exotic cars as the cars would protected again dust and sun. Otherhand, simple open freight transport is the most common method on auto transport industries, this was preffered by many people as the cost is reasonable.
