  • "What do you think of McDonald's being a sponsor of Iron Chef America?

    I started to notice that there is a McDonald's logo at some points during Iron Chef America...Why is Food Network partnering with a Fast-Food Giant?"

  • I'm sure it's apparent WHY they did -- advertising dollars. But I noticed the same thing during the scoring round, with the 'I'm lovin' it' logo plastered. The extreme irony of the posterchild for everything culinarily wrong on iron chef may be lost on network execs, but not on the viewers-- a lot of people have been bringing this up on the various threads and forums. The food network should have at least a modicum of dignity, and it has definitely lost a few 'cred points.

  • That's rediculous, but it is a big fast-food joint. Iron Chef America should have nothing to do with them. McDonalds is really big, but fast-food and a huge competition just don't mix well with me...

  • Mcdonalds is doing a lot of different things to try to improve their image and get past the "supersize me" bad press.
