  You need to set boundaries. You can't let him continue to push you, because before you know it.. you wont be able to block his control. You need to let him know that you DO love him, but you also need your own space away from the relationship. Your relationship should be PART of your life, not the whole purpose of it. Use these tips and if he doesnt understand, then you need to get out. He'll continue, he'll never stop unless you take my advice. Don't boost his ego even more. Hope this helps.
  Good point on boundaries; however, if he continues to control you in most areas of your life, you need to rethink how you feel about the relationship. A controlling person will most likely not get better, only worse. So, give good thought about either staying with him or finding someone else.
