Recently I purchased a Skirt from Chadwick's. I love it n would likeit in black,but the problem is that they don't make it in black. Are there any websites that have a big selection of skirts-especially in black?
I would love to find someone who could make me one but the only person i know who sews doesn't have the time to make it.

"You might try going to a local seamstress or tailor and asking for a replica. I have had this done for a fav pair of jeans and it was so worth it!
As far as places with a lot of black skirts, I'd say try Blue Fly...they have a huge selection of everything. Good luck!

Depending on the fabric that the skirt is made from, your solution may be as simple as dying it the desired color. Most fabric and craft stores sell dyes that are inexpensive and that do work well. I would ask someone that would know about this more before attempting it.. or perhaps taking a small swatch of fabric from the inside hemline of the skirt and try to dye it to see how it turns out.
