Oprah retiring after 25 years? WHY?
She's launched everyone from Obama to Dr. Oz.....why in the world would she retire? She's the queen on the daytime talk shows.
They say her ratings are slipping a bit...but, how in heck do they know who's watching her show or not?

Oprah has worked enough & made enough money to live the rest of her life as she wants to. I've known people that retired at age 65 and did not live long enough to recieve their first pension check or Social Security check. She is Oprah the person, not Oprah the show. I would say she want to do some things she hasn't had time for. Go Oprah!

Oprah has her O magazine, Oxygen network, and whatever else she wants to do. She's only retiring the TV show. This may come as a shock to you, but, especially for Oprah, money isn't the most important thing.
