  • How are the accor hotels in Europe?

I will be traveling to Europe this month, and trying to find decent places to stay. Does anyone know much about the accor hotels? And, any good, safe places to stay in London, Paris and Rome?

  • Accor hotels are decent. Functional, uninspired, often near train stations. Business traveller's budget option. Too expensive for the average highschool or college graduate from oversees though.

I am German and travel a lot in Europe, I refuse to pay Accor hotel prices. I've never paid more than 30 EUR per night and person. I stay in hostels, bed and breakfasts, small pensions and on camping sites. Never had a problem.

In Rome I stayed at Camping Roma (see http://www.plusvillages.com ) and in London at Earl's Court Youth Hostel. http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation
And when I go to Paris I'll be staying at http://www.campingparis.fr/
